Not much has been happening due to real-life intruding again both professionally and personally.
It’s taken the better part of the month to get the two colors on top of the Typhoon.
First up was the XF82 as the lighter top coat.
After waiting at least 24 hours, I started to mask for the other color using Tamiya tape. This ended up taking the better part of a month.
Finally, tonight, made the time to put XF81 on. As usual, light coats and slowly build it up. Like any paint, once you get the ratio dialled in it’s a beautiful thing. Waited for about 30 min for the green to dry and then pulled the masks off.
A great result.
