Quite a big update as I’ve been making slow and steady progress.
After some photoetch was put on, the parts were then primed and painted XF-71. For me this is a ‘close enough’ match to RAF interior green.
Once this has dried, additional parts are then put on after being painted up. Also some other painting is done in those areas that need it.
The whole sub-assembly is then put together. The fit is quite good.

The two fuselage halves are then put together. Just a small amount of filling to do. I recently switched to Deluxe’s Perfect Plastic Putty and it is fantastic. No shrinkage and easy cleanup.
