Making slow but steady progress on the YF-21. Got the cockpit and front end put together, then decided to break out the Dspiae circle cutter to mask the landing gear wheels. Not perfect but not back for the first time in a while.
Nice kit, not quite a shake and bake but still quite fun. My only complaint was the way the solar panels were attached. In the end, I took off some connection points from the spars to the panel and used CA glue to apply.
Found this gem at an estate sale recently. Hayabusa was a robotic spacecraft developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to return a sample of material from a small near-Earth asteroid named 25143 Itokawa to Earth for further analysis. You can find more info in the Wikipedia entry. Low part count but very nicely detailed. If you airbrush you will be doing some masking but it looks like it will build up well.
