Bench Update Sept 26

Not a lot of progress, due to the fact that your humble modeller and scribe had a small heart attack on the 15th.  Within a day I had two stents put in and two days later I was out of the hospital. Most important thing. When I started getting the pain in my chest and the night sweats I did the right thing and called 911. That is so important as the earlier the medical professionals can work on you the better.

I finally got back to the bench late this week and was able to do a few small things.  I find (obviously) that I tire easily, and I am reminded not to push it.  Got the cockpit painted and the inlets for the engines painted.  I also got the fuselage halves glued together.  I find it’s easier to do this in sections.  There were some slight gaps towards the front I may to fill with some putty.

The landing gear was also primed, painted and the detailing started.

Since I can’t drive for a month my lovely wife drove me to Broughdale Hobbies where I picked up some primer as well as two more subjects for my RCAF what if series.
