Real life and The Scale Model Podcast has been keeping me away from the bench. However, there have been times I’ve been able to move forward on the build of Pegasus.
I did complete the eight engines. The fit was very good with all of them.
I then moved on to the FTL drive and the main fuselage of the Battlestar.
The ‘head’ of the fuselage goes together in several sections and halfway through you attach the bottom and top halves of the main fuselage section.
The back section of the FTL is then inserted. I had not checked the fuselage halves so when I tried to insert the FTL section there was a fit issue. I discovered two small injection points on the inside.
Fortunately, I was able to get to it via a Trumpeter Model Chisel and after that, the FTL drive went in quite well.
