Time to prime it with Vallejo black surface primer.
Gave it 24 hours to set and then put a coat of Tamiya XF 59 Desert Yellow
The decals have to be prepped. As they are quite old I brushed on a coat of Microscale Decal Film on them.
I also primed and painted the tracks with Tamiya XF-56 Metallic Grey
