1/72 Hobbyboss SU 47
Picked up at Broughdale Hobbies. The Su-47 was a test bed used to look into next-generation tech. The aircraft is bigger than you think and will make another candidate for the RCAF what-if project.

CF-200 Muskrat
De Havilland Canada’s entry in the RCAF’s contract for the next generation of strike aircraft was the CF-200 Muskrat. Rumoured to be heavily influenced by an aerospace engineer who defected from the USSR. The Cf-200 approached the stealth issue in a different way than the CF-199 Panther. Radar absorbing panels at sharp angles help deflect the radar beams. In the end, the Muskrat lost the contract to the Panther but two were retained by the RCAF as test beds.

Great kit if you don’t have room for the big 1/44 kit of the same subject. Beautiful moulding and clear instructions will make this an enjoyable build.
