Bandai 1/144 Y-Wing. Unboxing and buildup
The next project on the bench is the Bandai 1/144 Y-Wing from Star Wars. Part of a series of smaller boxing, this will be an easy build with fine quality as is normal from Bandai. Here is some photos of the sprues. Inbox review. I built the entire kit over 2 nights taking just over an hour in total. Here is a time-lapse. I primed and tried an experiment. I’ve mixed the new formula of Aqueous off-white and a bit of 25-year-old Aqueous aircraft/grey. Mixed it with Mr. Color Levelling Thinner and it airbrushed beautifully. The next step will be deciding what colour to use for the squadron markings. I’m going to leave it for a bit as I work on a few other kits in the queue.
