The next phase was getting the wooden aftermarket deck on the hull. This went far easier then I was expecting and improved the look quite a bit. Something I will consider for future builds.
Then I started working on the assembly of the secondary guns and other small bits. A Gundam marker was very used to provide some contrast to the darker areas in each gun.
Also attached the superstructure
Still quite a few small parts to go but it is starting to look like a battleship.
