Tool Review – Mr Hobby Paint Jar Opener
The Mr. Hobby Paint Jar Opener is a 2 part tool to allow you to easily and safely open Mr. Hobby 10 and 18ml jars and Tamiya 10 ml jars.
The tool consists of a plastic wrench with knurled ridges to put the paint jar cap in. As well there is a rubber gripper base to put the bottom of the paint jar in.
Once this is done, usually a very quick turn will break the seal and allow the jar to open. No more having to use pliers and trying to keep the jar from flying out of your hands.
I’ve seen this tool for years and it’s one of those things that once you use it, you will wonder how you ever did without it. Recommended
